Eight school aged children were fully initiated into the Catholic Church at the 5 pm Mass on May 14th. They were baptized, confirmed and received the Eucharist for the first time at that Mass. Two younger children were baptized only and will celebrate the other sacraments at other times. The children for full initiation were prepared for this event by their participation in the Rite of Christian Initiation for children program which our parish offers to families whose children were not baptized as infants.
